Schedule a Consultation
At your consultation, we’ll fully assess your mouth and teeth and determine whether this is the right treatment for you. In cases where there is a lot of damage or decay present, we may have to carry out a treatment before fitting you for your crown or crowns.
At this appointment, we’ll prepare your teeth for receiving your new crowns and take a 3D scan. This will be used by our skilled lab technicians who will make your crowns. In the meantime, we’ll fit you with temporary crowns.
When your personal crowns are ready, we’ll fit you for them here at our luxurious central Birmingham practice. We’ll remove your temporary crowns before applying your personal crowns. Then, we’ll make sure the fit and the bite are correct, and everything’s completely comfortable and secure.
After we’ve checked the bite, you’ll be able to leave the practice with your brand new smile.

Dental crowns can address a range of issues. With them, we can strengthen a worn or weak tooth, replace a large or failing filling, support a broken or cracked tooth, cover a misshapen tooth and replace heavily discoloured teeth.
Crowns are also used to hold dental bridges in place, to finish and cover a root canal treatment and to cover a dental implant.
With good oral care, a crown can last 15-20 years.
We have sedation options available to ensure your treatment will be comfortable and pain-free.
This will depend on whether you have any clinical issues that need addressing and the condition of the individual tooth or teeth being treated.
In cases where the back of the teeth is still in good health, veneers may be a less invasive option for addressing aesthetic issues. If your teeth have more extensive damage, however, then a crown might be the solution.
